Description:
State and locally supported, 2-year, coed. Part of Los Angeles Community College District System. Awards certificates, diplomas, transfer associate, and terminal associate degrees. Founded 1925. Setting: 25-acre urban campus. Total enrollment: 13,194. Full-time: 4,160 students, 56% women, 44% men. Part-time: 9,034 students, 49% women, 51% men. Students come from 25 states and territories, 20 other countries, 0.3% Native American, 47% Hispanic, 35% black, 9% Asian American or Pacific Islander, 1% international, 47% 25 or older. Core.
